Enhancing production at high ambient temperature

Exposure to an ambient temperature above the zone of minimum metabolism results in an increase in endogenous heat production. Within the zone of least thermoregulatory effort, sensible heat loss is achieved through radiant, convection and conductive transfer of energy. To provide the best environment for the birds various management and housing aspects must be examined.
