Hydor extends poultry range following BFC purchase

Agricultural ventilation specialists Hydor will feature a range of products from BFC Parts at this year’s Livestock Event held in Birmingham, England. The range includes a poultry pan feeder, a Lubing drinker, a disinfectant mat as well as catching curtain and barrier, all designed for use in the poultry market.

Duncan Burl, Managing Director at Hydor recognises BFC as a logical fit within Hydor’s existing product portfolio. He commented – “We are probably best known for our ventilation expertise which we have applied in a wide variety of different livestock environments, including many poultry applications, although BFC Parts brings an extra dimension to our product range and the Livestock Event, with its focus this year extending further beyond just dairy and beef, provides the ideal platform to introduce this to the market. BFC are known for offering bespoke, as well as standard products, a philosophy which we at Hydor have always followed and together we will continue to employ this approach to provide the optimum solutions for our customers.”

Also on display will be products from Hydrosystems, whom Hydor have a close partnership with in order to bring further products to the agricultural markets. A representative from Hydrosystems will be available to discuss the AquaBlend and SuperDos injectors. AquaBlend is engineered to accurately medicate and/or treat water in the majority of agricultural environments. The rugged and durable injector is available in two different fixed ratio models, designed to handle both liquid chemicals and wettable powders. SuperDos offers an injector which operates without the need for electricity, using fluid flow as the power source to precisely inject liquid concentrates into a water supply line.
