People: Aviagen appoints Dr Antonio Kalinowski
Aviagen has announced the appointment of Dr Antonio Kalinowski as Poultry Nutritionist for Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa.
Dr Kalinowski will be based in Spain and is part of the global nutrition team managed by Dr John Halley.
Currently based in Quito, Ecuador, Dr Kalinowski has a PhD in Poultry Nutrition from Auburn University and has recently completed his MBA. Since 2006 he has been working with Pronaca, the largest food company in Ecuador, where he was the Research & Development Director, Animal Production.
Dr Halley commented:
“Antonio’s working knowledge of broiler production, nutrition and feed manufacturing will be a tremendous asset to us in his new position.
“By working with our nutrition specialists worldwide, Aviagen distributors and customers can maximise the performance potential of their flocks. Dr Kalinowski will be a vital part of that technical support service and emphasises the importance placed on good nutrition.”
Dr Kalinowski takes up his role in May 2012, initially based in Ecuador before making the move to Spain.
