Miratorg and Meyn-Ishida agree Russian poultry plant solution
Russian company Miratorg and Meyn-Ishida have agreed to the delivery of a complete 12,000 birds per hour Greenfield plant in the Bryansk region, Russia.
This project is one of Russia’s largest dedicated poultry processing investments in the past years. The state-of-the-art facility will incorporate the latest proven technologies for fixed weight pack handling. The new plant is part of the poultry project in which a complete vertical integration is planned; from grain harvesting for feed production purposes up to the ready products, in consumer packaging or packaged for further processing.
Miratorg Agribusiness Holding, founded in 1995, is a leading investor in the Russian agribusiness industry, largest pork and formula-feed producer and as such one of the largest meat producers and suppliers in the Russian market.
The Holding is an active participant of the National Project “Agribusiness Development” and the State Program for agricultural development and regulation of markets for agricultural commodities, raw materials and foodstuffs for 2008 – 2012. Its strategic goal is to provide uninterrupted supplies of high-quality foodstuffs to Russian people.
