Aviagen appoints technical services managers
Aviagen has appointed André Costa and Mo’een Alkhatib as technical services managers to accommodate the continued growth of the business in the Middle East and Africa.
In their new roles they will be responsible for supporting Aviagen distributors and customers.
Commenting on the appointment, Michael Garden, Business Manager MEA, said: “André and Mo’een will spend a period of time learning about Aviagen’s core business and values before working with our customers. Creating and maintaining close working relationships with our customers is paramount to their development and both André and Mo’een have excellent strengths in this area.”
Costa holds a Masters degree in Veterinary Medicine, has completed post-graduate studies in Management and Marketing and has experience in technical roles within the animal nutrition sector in Portugal, his country of birth.
Alkhatib holds a BSc in Animal Production and has recently been working as GGP Farms Manager in Aviagen New Zealand, and also has previous poultry management experience in his home country of Jordan.
