DSM showcases breeder app at Eurotier 2014

DSM, will showcase its latest innovations at Eurotier 2014 with visitors being able to test the newly launched MaxiChick Breeder Calculator App, designed to help improve the profitability of breeders.

DSM’s industry experts will also be on hand to discuss the latest insights into the working mechanism of phytases as well as best practice to boost production with the phytase product RONOZYME HiPhos.

MaxiChick Breeder Calculator App

This user-friendly new app from DSM allows the user to visualise the extra profit that can potentially be generated by introducing feeding innovations. Based on a simple three-step process, it enables the quick calculation of the potential impact of any possible change in husbandry practice or diet on the profitability of the flock and can also be used to support decision-making processes, feed additive evaluation and training and teaching.

RONOZYME HiPhos

An increasing body of scientific evidence supports the benefits of integrating phytases in animal diets to improve animal performance. Proven to create an Extra Phosphoric Effect (EPE) at economic dose, DSM’s RONOZYME HiPhos supports a more efficient use of amino acids, ultimately improving growth rate, feed conversion and boosting profitability. DSM’s experts will be available on stand to explain how to optimise the use of feed phytases to support animal nutrition and health.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to discuss how to meet higher standards and legal requirements for animal feed production with DSM’s experts. In order to guarantee maximum efficacy, feed additives need to comply with the minimal requirements for stability to survive processing conditions; bioavailability for a better absorption; as well as handling and mixability for easy and accurate dosing.
