US Commercial Service to recruit international delegations

The 2008 International Poultry Expo (IPE) and the International Feed Expo (IFE) will be part of the US Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program.

Under this program, the department’s US Commercial Service recruits foreign buyer delegations from US embassies abroad and takes them to trade shows in the US to facilitate matchmaking with American businesses who are exhibiting at the show. The IBP enables US companies who are interested in exporting to meet with potential sales representatives and strategic partners without ever leaving the country.
If you are from outside the US and are planning to attend the next IPE and IFE, the US Commercial Service office of the American Embassy or Consulate in your country offers free business assistance to qualified companies (firms that do business outside the US, but who are interested in attending the IPE and IFE to find US suppliers of goods and services).
The US Commercial Service offices overseas can assist you in your own language; help finding US suppliers before, during and after the show; help arrange hotel and travel packages; assist with Visa application procedures where necessary, ect. Your company will also receive complimentary admission to the trade show when you are part of a qualified delegation.
