Thailand bird flu contained

The re-emergence of bird flu outbreak in Phicit and Nakorn Sawan Province, has been contained.

It has been reported that avian influenza outbreak will not affect Thailand’s cooked poultry exports to foreign markets, according to Livestock Development Department Director General Sakchai Sriboonsue. However, it may delay Thailand’s current ongoing talks with Japan to resume exports of fresh chicken.
