The Philippines’ Department of Agriculture is lifting its ban on all poultry and poultry products from Arkansas. However, poultry and poultry products are now banned from Idaho.

Arkansas ban lifted
The import ban from Arkansas was lifted following the World Organization for Animal Health certifying the state as bird flu-free, said secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Arthur Yap. This ban was put in place last June after a bird flu virus was detected in Washington County.
Idaho ban imposed
After an occurrence of low-pathogenic AI was detected in game birds that are bred for hunting in the region, the department placed a temporary ban of imports of domestic and wild birds.
