US: all natural turkey sausage launched
A new 100% turkey product is being introduced into Odom’s Tennessee Pride’s traditional pork-only line – the All Natural Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Patties.
The new turkey product is advertised to minimally processed containing no artificial ingredients.
According to Odom’s Tennessee Pride president and CEO, larry Odom, the addition of a turkey sausage into the pork products line is a matter of keeping up with the ever-changing consumer.
“The fact that the patties have one-third the fat, 20% less cholesterol and 25% less sodium than our regular fully cooked patties will make this item attractive.”
