Aviagen: L.I.R. technical association meeting, Malaysia
Aviagen recently held the inaugural L.I.R. Technical Association meeting in Langkawi, Malaysia. Representatives of Aviagen’s major L.I.R. distributors were given the latest technical advice and tools in order to better service L.I.R. customers worldwide.
Delegates spent 2 days listening to presentations, networking and building relationships. The topics discussed included updates on distributor markets and presentations on management of Grand Parent stock, importance of nutrition to flock performance and a session on breeder selection. Guo Jun, Hatchery Specialist Asia, gave an in-depth presentation entitled ‘Bridges between Farms and Hatcheries’.
The event was well attended showing the popularity of the brand across different markets, says the company.
Dr Eugenio Rojas, Director of L.I.R. Operations: “The L.I.R. product is very well suited to the Asia and Middle East markets due to its outstanding performance in local conditions. For the L.I.R. brand to become even more successful it is vital that we work closely with our current distributors to highlight the excellent performance of our product. We hope to grow the distributor network and plan to hold similar events in the future.”
