The seventeenth edition of Expoaviga, taking place at
the Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via venue from 15 to 18 April 2008, will be
bringing together the biggest ever range of exhibitors, technical seminars and
activities geared towards livestock production in Spain.
The trade fair will encompass a huge range of products and services from
companies in the sector, complemented by a comprehensive technical
programme.
Instead of the traditional August date, the show has been moved to 15-18
April, the show director, Antoni Cambredó, explained. "This changeover to spring
comes in response to demands from exhibitors and visitors alike. Also, it has
allowed us to reposition ourselves in a trade fair panorama which, both
nationally and internationally, was getting rather saturated at certain times of
the year."
Expoaviga will be held in Pavilion 2 at the Gran Via venue which covers an
area of 38,000 metres squared.
Extra events include three technical seminars, on energy and the livestock
sector, on the role of agents in the production chain and on practical examples
of the management and/or treatment of excreta. More technical seminars can be
found at the BCN Expoaviga Congress.
