China may export poultry to the EU

After four years of inspection, the EU has released 9 poultry companies in China to export heat-treated poultry products to Europe.

In 2004, the ban put into place following the bird flu epidemic in the country, but now the EU has granted a license to the plants in the Shandong province of China.
