Aviagen: hands-on approach to tech support
Aviagen held their annual technical seminar with Koka Varazdin, a major Ross customer in Croatia. This was the latest in Aviagen’s series of events which take a more innovative and practical approach to information-sharing.
Regional Technical Manager Jonny Harrison and Technical Manager Neil Clark conducted the seminar which updated the 30 Parent Stock (PS) Farmers and representatives of the Koka technical team on a variety of subjects. The presentations included topics such as ventilation techniques and performance objectives.
The highlights of the event were the Thermal Imaging, Ventilation and Male Management workshops. These interactive workshops allowed the delegates to get out of the classroom and into the field, ensuring they gained hands-on experience of the techniques and advice the team were passing on. Lively discussions and information-sharing were an important part of the workshops.
