Intralox awarded for food-processing solutions

Recently, at the European FoodTec Awards, Intralox received the Silver Medal in recognition of the company’s developments in conveyance products that enable significant improvements in functions or processes.

The European FoodTec Awards programme is organised by the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and sponsored in part by EFFoST (European Federation of Food Science and Technology). Awards are presented every 3 years, coinciding with the occasion of the Anuga FoodTec international trade show in Cologne, Germany.

The 2009 European FoodTec Award ceremony was held on 10 March, 2009, at the Anuga FoodTec fair. Intralox was presented with a certificate entitled “Innovation Award” given for the realisation of exemplary future-oriented concepts within the food industry, announced the company.

“With this innovation, the company belongs to the innovations leaders in its sector. The award is not just the reward for an outstanding technological development, it also serves as inspiration for further developments within the company,” said Carl-Albrecht Bartmer, President of the DLG, at the awards ceremony.
