The ShowCo group of companies is expanding. The association currently has over 35 member companies who are active in the international poultry business. Their aim is to participate together in a carefully selected number of international trade shows.

By joining forces, Showco wishes to optimise the exhibition and trade fair business for the poultry industry on a worldwide scale. Their objective is to support a Global Exhibition Plan existing of about 5-6 premium exhibitions worldwide. These are marked by the fact that they present the complete product and service offer of the poultry industry and take place every 2 years.

According to ShowCo, this concept leads to a quality improvement of the exhibitions, as they offer the complete product and service range. Moreover the 2-year frequency enables solid development of technical mature innovations. And finally this approach is cost saving for both exhibitors and visitors, says ShowCo.

Since September 2008, ShowCo is officially an industrial association with its board and management. The original number of 16 founding companies has been increased by another 20 companies in 2009.

Although the initiative began in Europe, companies from Israel, Ukraine and the US have also joined.

The next exhibition which is supported by ShowCo, is upcoming to VIV Europe in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 20-22 April.
