Second stage of registrations for WPC about to end

02-03-2012 | |

The second stage of registration to the 24th World Poultry Congress (WPC 2012) will finish in about a month. This stage started in December, 2011 and will end on March 31st.

Those who register during this period will be granted discounts and will pay lower registration fees than those that will be charged during the WPC that will be held on August 5-9, 2012, in the Convention Center of Bahia, in Salvador, Brazil.

FACTA’s executive director, Dr. Luiz Sesti, warns those interested in participating in the WPC 2012 to remember the deadline and register as soon as possible. “We would not want anyone to miss such an important event, particularly the Brazilians, who have the privilege of hosting the WPC again after 34 years,” says Sesti.

Students, researchers, scientists, and professionals involved in poultry production should register at the website.

The WPC 2012 is organised by the Brazilian branch of the WPSA (World Poultry Science Association) and co-organised by FACTA (Apinco Foundation of Poultry Science and Technology) and Ubabef (Brazilian Association of Poultry Producers).
