The Mexican poultry industry is at a crossroads. The free trade agreement with the USA is stimulating producers to become more competitive. The question for the larger companies today is: should they focus on becoming even more competitive so they can be major players in the export market, or should they concentrate on the domestic market? The Mexican market is facing major challenges.
