10-03-2010 | | |

At a Danish duck farm in Fuglebjerg, Southwest of the island of Sjælland, the presence of low pathogenic avian influenza type H7 has been reported, according to the Danish Ministry of Agriculture.

The infection has been found during a regular check, which is part of the Danish Avian Influenza control programme.

One kilometre around the company has been secured and the 195 ducks at the farm have been culled.
