The award-winning disinfectant is a dual-component preparation with which resistant stages of bacteria, micobacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites can be inactivated and/or killed in a single operation. The agents listed so far by the DVG (Deutsche Veterinärmedizinische Gesellschaft – German Veterinary Medical Society) only have bactericidal, fungicidal, or virucidal effects against parasite resistant stages. In addition, the DVG list contains preparations with an antiparasitic effect that have limited effectiveness against bacteria and/or viruses. The combination of an unrestricted bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effective component with a second component that satisfies the performance criteria of the DVG represents a substantial improvement by covering a broader action spectrum. Applying such a broadly effective disinfectant makes it possible to save both costs and labour in practical farming.

CreAmino is a new feed additive that has been licensed in the EU since 2009. It is a new guanidinoacetic acid, a precursor of creatine that is formed naturally in metabolism and that plays a key role in energy metabolism, especially in muscles. The product helps to stabilise and/or improve the zootechnical performance, above all of intensively growing broilers, whose feed does not contain any components of animal provenance. The additive stabilises the supply situation of the animals.
This is an innovative development of a feed additive in context with breeding progress as regards genetic performance potential on the one hand and changes in feed markets on the other (e.g. availability of fishmeal).
