Aviagen launches Russian website

//14 Oct 2011
Aviagen’s Russian-speaking customers now have first-hand access to the full range of literature and product information on the Russian version of the corporate website.

Already available in Portuguese and with plans in place for further language-versions, the Aviagen website offers an extensive selection of technical and commercial knowledge and is a central information source for Aviagen and its product brands, Ross, Arbor Acres and Indian River.

Russian is the 4th most spoken language in the world by total number of speakers and it therefore was an important business decision to provide a native-language website for the booming markets in the region.

Steven Stenhouse, Aviagen’s European Marketing Manager, commented: “The Russian-speaking countries are some of our most important markets now and in the future with tremendous growth potential. Aviagen products are extremely popular in these markets and we recognise the importance of supporting our customers at all levels. For the Russian-speaking market, we have an ideal infrastructure through our flagship hatchery in Yasnogorsk, our locally-based customer support team, our Russian language literature and our programme of events. This is now even further enhanced through the launch of our Russian website.”
