The agency says under animal health guidelines set by the World Health Organization, Canada was regained its "disease-free status", reports CFRB.
Earlier this year, tens of thousands of poultry were culled in British Columbia's Fraser Valley as officials tried to contain the latest outbreak of the low-pathogenicity virus.
There have been at least four avian flu outbreaks on Canadian farms since 2004 - 3 of them in the Fraser Valley, east of Vancouver.
