The events took place in Kyjov, Moravia and in the historic Dobris Castle near Prague and were attended by over 50 delegates, mostly farm managers and technical personnel from Xavergen.
The main theme of the meetings was ‘Critical Points of PS Management’. Neil Clark, Aviagen’s Area Technical Manager, gave a presentation on the critical points in the rearing and production period. He shared many helpful hints and tips to maximise performance, and ultimately profit, through enhanced management. Many participants joined in the open forum discussions to exchange experiences and learn from each other.
Milos Zima, Technical Director of Xavergen, commented: “These meetings were extremely valuable to our personnel. The information on critical periods in the life of a Ross flock was invaluable and the interaction between the participants was great – we all learnt something new from each other”.
