Electricity from poultry fat for Texas

Renewables Corp. has announced that it has begun supplying fuel for the nation's first 100% biodiesel powered electricity generating turbine plant in Conroe, Texas.

The company plans to supply up to one million gallons per month of pure biodiesel, primarily from poultry fat collected from large poultry processing operations throught the country.

The plant, owned and operated by Biofuels Power Corp., will produce electricity for delivery direct to the power grid.
