UK retailer tackles chicken theft

Food theft is on the rise in all corners of the world. Now, to tighten security and to prevent people stealing their chickens, a UK retailer is setting off alarms.

 
At a Sainsbury's supermarket in East Sussex, England, security tags are being placed on the store's frozen chickens to prevent theft. Shoplifters who try to steal the birds will set off an alarm.
