International Poultry Council meeting in Beijing

The International Poultry Council has said that its members will meet from
24-26 September in Beijing to discuss issues affecting poultry production,
consumption and trade.
A wide variety of issues will be studied at the upcoming meeting, including
a proposed global study on international salmonella-testing standards, an update
on the World Organisation for animal health's AI compartmentalisation programme,
and the impact of grain prices on global poultry production.
Additionally, member organisations from over 20 countries will present
status reports on the state of their poultry industries.
