About the WPSA
The enormous growth in poultry meat production would not have been possible without worldwide efforts of specialists in this field. This has taken the form of research programmes at many universities, institutes and commercial companies as well as in applied research within the many branches of the processing and supply industry in many fields of poultry production. For all these experts who work worldwide for the world’s most important and fast-increasing food sources there is an interesting umbrella organisation, WPSA.

Objectives of the WPSA
  • To gather knowledge in all aspects of poultry science and the poultry industry and to bring this knowledge to the poultry industry, poultry scientists or other people with an interest in poultry.
  • To assist all levels in bringing together, worldwide, those with interests in all aspects of poultry science, poultry production and the many diverse ancillary enterprises that are associated with the industry.
  • To dedicate itself to the spread of knowledge so that education and training are ranked high amongst the interests of WPSA members.
  • To promote poultry husbandry.
